Belgium put WC disappointments behind them with an last day surge, which saw them take three section wins and two seconds to be crowned 6 Nations Champions of 2005.

England must be wondering what happened where their star individuals Will Raison and Stu Conroy just couldn't fire in the conditions and the team played a spot of role reversals with their World Champs adversaries Belgium and France. It was, however, left to England's debutant, Richard O'Connor, who recorded two section wins (the only angler to do so over the both days) to take the individual title.

Scotland managed to pull three points back from Wales today, but were beaten into 5th on weight by Ireland and it wasn't enough to take them off the bottom of the table. Jamie Masson managed a creditable 1.24kg for 3rd in section from a poor draw (a very deep peg at the end of C section where the Welsh angler had only managed 220g the day before) to add to his section win from yesterday to finish 5th overall.

Weather was much brighter today but fishing followed very much the same pattern as yesterday but with a few more bonus fish showing mostly early on.

All in all, the way the fishing has been has suited the Belgian and French styles and they put on a great demonstration of how to do it.

Credit for compiling the results goes to Mike Weed of the SFCA and Ross Clark for getting them to us.
