The fourth and final round took at Woodland View on Wednesday 14th September to decide who was the 2005 Individual Champion. What a day it turned out for Dynamite Baits sponsored Sean Huggins. Leading the event going into the final match, he then won the round and picked up an additional £1000 to add to his £4000 win as overall champion with 38 points, dropping only two points over the whole series. Seans three section wins and a third were achieved in the highest class and proved what a top performer he is.
Sean drew Arles Lake, peg 16, and started on the feeder with corn and pellet out to the island to net seven carp before switching to the inside line to add a further eleven fish for a total weight of 88lb 5ozs.
Second on the day went to Ringer Baits Phil Ringer with a total weight of 82lb 110zs. Phil fished corn and red meat from peg 55 on Black Deans lake produced 14 carp but a poor last hour saw his hopes of taking the title evaporate. He still went home with £500 for the days work and another £3000 for overall second. Phil recorded 36 points, but yet again produced a third time runners up spot for the Ringer Dynasty (Steve did the other two), perhaps one day!
The following five places all registered 33 points so it was down to section wins and then weight if needed.
Neil Machin secured third place and £2000 with a greater overall weight from fourth place Harry Billing who had exactly the same section points.
